Roberto Colon Leyva, 33, of Bridgeport, was arrested by Greenwich Police on Friday, Nov. 1, after police responded to a report of a crash, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz.
When police arrived on the scene of the crash at 124 W. Ritch Ave., they found Leyva had bloodshot, glassy eyes, slurred speech, and smelled of alcohol, Slusarz said.
After admitting to drinking, Leyva was asked to perform the field sobriety tests, which he failed, police said.
He was arrested and charged with driving without a license, failure to drive right, and DUI.
Leyva is being held on a $250 bond which he could not post.
